Baby Clothing Size by Age in the First Year of Life
For baby and children's clothing sizes, the general rule is: body length in cm equals clothing size. The following sizes and information apply to an average baby

If your baby is already born, you can also study the percentile on the WHO curve in your child's health record (at the end of the booklet). There you will find information on how your child compares in terms of length and weight to the average. So, if your baby, for example, is in the 90th percentile for body length and is longer than only 10% of all babies, it's better to choose the next larger clothing size!
That's the theory. Unfortunately, not everywhere where a 62 is labeled, there's actually a 62 inside... Especially the French labels often run small, while the Scandinavian ones tend to be larger.
Our service for you in the shop: We label the items as they actually fit - regardless of what's on the label. Something marked as 62-68 in our shop is either a large 62 or a small 68
Children's Clothing Size from the Second Year of Life
For simplicity, we refrain from dividing into boys and girls, even though there are small deviations here. The cm measurements, especially chest, waist, and hip circumference, are only rough guidelines for orientation:
